The Tangled series designed by Dutch designer Carolina Wilcke. For Carolina, educated as a goldsmith, architecture and art are an important source of inspiration. Tangled is inspired by the steel windows that were often used in industrial buildings in the past. For Tangled, Carolina experimented with several types of steel profiles, that resulted in 2 tangled volumes! This created the perfect dimensions for a piece of furniture in which special items can be displayed. Tangled creates the feeling of 2 volumes, becoming one.
The frame consist of steel profiles, powder-coated black (matte) or dark anthracite, in which glass tablets are fixated. Because of this combination, this design looks both subtle and elegant as well as solid and tough.
The sideboard consists of 2 volumes, each inserted with glass. Because of this, the sideboard has 4 layers in total, to be able to display objects with different heights. The complete sideboard stands on 4 slim feet, which simply seem to follow from the lines of the body. A real eye catcher in your space, without being dominantly present!
