Drops
Drops
Drops is a curtain that particularly stands out for its tactility and elegant interplay of colors. It features a double yarn intertwined in a looped manner and set against a white, grey or black transparent background. Woven drops slightly protrude from the surface of the stripes, and appear to ‘flow’ over the textile.
The color-ways for Drops include understated, natural tones, such as pale grey, aubergine and earth brown, as well as more luminous tones, such as yellow and pink. When the curtain is draped, or viewed from different angles, these different color-settings combine to create a variety of subtle yet striking nuances. The color of the background also appears to change depending on the way the stripes combine colors.
Lightfastness: 6
Lightfastness relates to the ability of a textile to retain its colour under light. When testing for lightfastness, samples are exposed to artificial daylight for a specified period. The evaluation scale ranges from 1 (worst) to 8 (best). An increase of one point corresponds to a doubling of the lightfastness, i.e. the same fading takes twice as long.
