Ginger 2
Ginger 2
Ginger 2 is inspired by the smooth surface, cool hand and fine, characteristic structure of flax. Small densifications of yarns appear irregularly over its surface, expressing a certain color particularly strongly. This adds an extra dimension to its soft and natural expression.
The color-ways for Ginger 2 are created with two contrasting uni-colored yarns – one in the warp, the other in the weft. The inspiration for the colors comes from the subtle nuances and harmonic hues of spices.
Lightfastness: 5.5
Lightfastness relates to the ability of a textile to retain its color under light. When testing for lightfastness, samples are exposed to artificial daylight for a specified period. The evaluation scale ranges from 1 (worst) to 8 (best). An increase of one point corresponds to a doubling of the lightfastness, i.e. the same fading takes twice as long.
