Vision
Vision
Vision was conceived in 1985 and holds a special place in design history. It was created for Pastoe by Karel Boonzaaijer and Pierre Mazairac a renowned Dutch design team. Boonzaaijer and Mazairac initially did not focus on making a cupboard, but on an abstract investigation into surfaces, proportions and storage spaces, independent of production restrictions such as production standards.
Vision, arguably, represents the apex of this philosophy. While Boonzaaijer and Mazairac produced celebrated pieces for a portfolio of high-profile clients, Vision remains a career-defining design.
The Vision Selected 1 is an elegant drawer unit available in three elegant color combinations—white, deep brown, and clay. It features a primary color complemented by three accent tones in lacquer and oak veneer, mounted on a finely textured black frame measuring 18 cm in height.
