IN-EX

Envisioned Interiors - Since 1992

Services

more than a furniture showroom

For over three decades, IN-EX HAS operated at the intersection of interior design, technical detailing, and European manufacturing, bringing together interiors, systems, and concepts into one coherent vision. Since 1992, IN-EX has forged enduring relationships with a select group of European manufacturers of contemporary furniture, kitchens, bathroom, lighting, and storage. Many of these partnerships span decades. That continuity gives us a rare familiarity with each collection and direct access to the very best of what they produce.

The IN‑EX INTRIGUE

IN-EX proudly represents around twenty of Europe’s most respected design brands, each chosen for their quality, innovation, and heritage. Our Beverly Hills showroom is a single destination where clients can experience furniture, lighting, kitchens, wardrobes, and décor from world-class sources under one roof.

Furniture & Seating

Our furniture offering spans historic and contemporary European design. It includes the depth of Italian houses such as Acerbis and Zanotta, the upholstery heritage of Walter Knoll and Wittmann, and the refined modern lines of Desalto, e15, ClassiCon, and others. The result is a vocabulary that ranges from timeless to experimental, always grounded in craft.

Kitchen Systems

Our kitchen work centers on leading Italian manufacturers like Cesar, whose systems combine minimalist architecture with everyday practicality. We tailor layouts, finishes, and appliances to each project, whether the brief is a compact pied-à-terre or a family kitchen at the heart of a home.

Bathroom

known for sculptural and long-lasting designS, agape is part of the IN-EX family. From a single powder room to a complete primary suite, our expertise provides coordinated systems of tubs, basins, fittings, lighting, and storage that perform beautifully and age well.

Lighting & BEYOND

Light is both a technical and an emotional tool. We offer a curated collection of lighting brands like Foscarini and architectural specialists like Viabizzuno, which allows us to support everything from a single statement pendant to a fully integrated lighting concept. To complete the interior, we layer in textiles AND CURTAINS by Kvadrat, rugs by G.T. Design, wall coverings by Wall&decò, DOORS BY GLAS ITALIA, and BEYOND to bring warmth and texture into each space.

Outdoor & Workplace

Our scope extends beyond the home. With outdoor design leaders such as Extremis and workplace specialists like Tecno, we furnish terraces, amenity decks, studios, and offices with the same level of design rigor as our residential interiors.

Core Services

We work equally across residential and commercial projects, AND providing a complete set of services that can be engaged individually or as a comprehensive, end-to-end solution.

  • We design homes that are deeply personal and quietly sophisticated. From overall space planning to furniture, lighting, and material selections, we consider how you live day to day, including your routines, storage needs, how you move through the space, and the quality of light. We then translate those insights into interiors that feel resolved and enduring, rather than styled for a moment.

  • Offices, showrooms, hospitality venues, and multi-unit developments receive the same degree of attention as our residential projects. We balance brand identity, user experience, and durability, coordinating furniture, lighting, materials, and systems to support everyday operations and long-term wear. Technical requirements like code compliance, spatial clearances, and performance standards are handled with the same rigor as the project’s visual design.

  • Light is one of the most powerful elements in an interior. We offer focused lighting consultation by studying natural light, defining ideal light levels and moods for different zones, and selecting fixtures from our European partners to achieve the desired balance of function and atmosphere. The goal is not simply to “brighten” a space, but to shape it.

  • Because we work closely with our brands, material sourcing is not an afterthought; it’s central to what we do. We help clients, architects, and designers select and procure:

    • Furniture and case goods

    • Kitchen and bath systems

    • Surface materials, textiles, rugs, and wall coverings

    • Hardware, fixtures, and accessories

Our long-standing relationships mean we can often access special finishes, configurations, and pieces that are not easily found through standard retail channels.

  • Custom manufacturing is not a generic service; it is offered selectively, when project criteria justify a bespoke solution. Through our in-house workshop and trusted local partners, we can fabricate:

    • Custom furniture pieces, cabinetry, and millwork components

    • Adaptations or extensions to existing systems

    • Architectural elements that complete an installation

This capability allows us to resolve edge conditions and “impossible” situations without compromising the design intent. We are not a stand-alone custom shop; we apply this resource only where it adds value to the overall project.

  • Storage is where design meets daily life. We design and install wardrobes, closets, and storage systems using both our European partners and our exclusive, non‑public wardrobe manufacturer.

A key point of difference: installation is managed in‑house.

We do not hand off drawings to a third‑party installer and hope for the best. Our own team oversees and performs installation, aligning systems to the architecture with millimeter‑level care. That control over the final step protects the integrity of the design and gives clients a single, accountable partner from concept to completion.

  • IN-EX is uniquely positioned in the area of wardrobe and closet systems. Beyond the brands featured on our site, we maintain a discreet partnership with a historic European wardrobe manufacturer whose name we do not publicize. This discretion safeguards both the relationship and the competitive advantage it offers our clients.

Through this partnership we can deliver:

    • Walk-in closets and dressing rooms

    • Integrated wardrobe walls and built-ins

    • Highly organized interior configurations (drawers, hanging accessories, etc.)

    • Thoughtful lighting and mirror integrations

The emphasis is on fit, function, and longevity, not on labels. We design each closet system around your lifestyle, then implement it with our in-house installation team so that everything, from reveal lines to door alignment, meets our technical standards.

  • IN-EX is a design studio, manufacturer, and showroom in one. This combination allows us to control the entire chain, from initial concept and brand selection to technical documentation, fabrication support, and on-site installation.

  • When a standard product is almost right but not quite, we can adapt it by adjusting dimensions, adding components, or creating bridging elements so that systems meet walls, ceilings, and architectural features cleanly. These interventions are subtle and highly specific, designed to make the finished space feel intentional rather than compromised.

  • Many projects involve integrating furniture and cabinetry into the architecture, such as wardrobes that sit flush with wall panels, paneling that aligns with door heads, and storage that feels built-in rather than applied. Our fabrication capability allows us to execute these integrations in a controlled way, coordinating closely with architects, general contractors, and other trades.

  • We regularly collaborate with private clients, architects, interior designers, and developers. Some come to us with a complete design concept and rely on IN-EX for systems, brand selections, and technical drawings; others ask us to lead both design and implementation. In either case, our role is to be a trusted technical and curatorial partner, one who can speak both the language of architecture and the language of manufacturing.

Our Process

While every project is unique, our approach is consistent and deliberate:

  1. Initial Conversation: Clients and collaborators share their plans, references, and goals. We discuss scope, timeline, and priorities, whether the focus is a single room, a full residence, or a commercial space.

  2. Review & Brief: We study the architecture and existing conditions, then define a clear brief covering the program, stylistic direction, performance requirements, and any constraints.

  3. Concept & Materials: We develop initial layouts, select key systems and brands, and propose materials, finishes, and lighting concepts that express the overall vision.

  4. Technical Development: Once we are aligned on the direction, we prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and schedules for furniture, kitchens, bathrooms, wardrobes, and any custom elements. This is where our technical depth and brand knowledge are most visible.

  5. Procurement, Fabrication & Coordination: We manage orders with our European partners, coordinate custom manufacturing when needed, and align logistics with the rest of the project team so that deliveries and installations occur in a carefully coordinated sequence.

  6. Delivery, Installation & Follow-Through: Our in-house installation and project support team oversees delivery, assembly, and final adjustments. We remain involved through the last detail, ensuring that what is built reflects what was envisioned.
