It’s the oriental inspiration from the art of ikebana that we find in Victor Vasilev's Ike stool with its striking contrast of nature's luxuriance and the simple, severe forms in which it is contained. The base is a steel plate topped by a simple support from which round tubes emerge like climbing plants to hold the seat.
